Happy February, everyone! Spring is just around the corner. If they haven't already, your orchids should soon begin to emerge from dormancy and start new growth. The rewards of your care and hard work from last year will soon be visible, and it’s truly amazing to watch as new growth and blooms start to appear for the spring season!
⭐️ Beth Davis – January 20th
Join us for our February meeting, as we listen to our featured speaker Beth Davis. She will be discussing 'The Cattleya Allure' topic in great detail (slideshow and Q&A). Beth is a fourth-generation orchid grower from Waldor Orchids located in Linwood, NJ. Waldor is a family-owned business started in 1925 by her Great-Grandfather. She has worked at the greenhouses for over 25 years. Join us for some amazing pictures of orchids, with your chance to ask questions and participate in group discussions. We look forward to seeing you there!
⭐️ DCOS 2025 Orchid Show and Sale – February 14th
The DCOS Orchid Show and Sale is just around the corner! Held at Dearborn Market Greenhouse, this event will feature vendors from across the country, as well as Ecuador and Thailand. If you're new to the Orchid Society or haven't attended a show before, we highly recommend it. You'll be amazed by the wide variety of orchids, the stunning show displays, and the chance to connect with fellow orchid enthusiasts. Don't miss out on this exciting event! *See details below!

*The CJOS meeting venue is at Trinity Church (33 Mercer St., Princeton, NJ 08540, (USA)). The meetings are held from 7pm - 8:30pm. All are welcome to attend a meeting; especially if it is your first time and introduction to CJOS. Grab a member and ask lots of questions about what CJOS is and how to join!
